What do off-road cyclists look for in a pair of cycling pants?

Freedom to move. The cut of the FUSION SO Pants is casual yet ideally suited to the specific requirements of off-road cyclists. Pre-shaped knee sections ensure an optimum form and the Velcro waistband and high-cut back section guarantee a perfect fit and wearing comfort. The leg width can also be adjusted using Velcro straps.

Functional climate management. The wind and waterproof WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell combined with a fleece lining protects cyclists from light rain and cold when the weather is changeable and also in winter. The fabric has superior breathability and rapidly wicks away moisture, thus preventing overheating even in warm temperatures or during strenuous exercise.

Versatility. The FUSION SO Pants can be worn in a wide range of temperatures and are ideal for highly changeable weather conditions in the mountains. If it gets too warm the leg sections can be zipped off and packed away. Four practical pockets provide perfect storage.

Protection. Off-road cycling requires tough fabric for protection – and the WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell provides the essential high resistance to abrasion. The lower leg section is also reinforced with an extremely sturdy Cordura fabric which offers protection from chafing when pedalling and from the sprocket teeth. Reflective prints and logos enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

Style. The casual cut not only provides freedom of movement but also looks great and is complemented by the new “camouflage” colour. For those who prefer a classic look, the FUSION SO Pants are also available in black.

The FUSION SO Pants tick all the boxes for off-road cyclists who can complete the look with the TOOL Jacket, the perfect match for the pants both visually and functionally. The TOOL Jacket also has a slightly wider cut and, thanks to the WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell, has similar properties to those of the FUSION SO Pants.
